Operations Co-ordinator (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Operations Co-ordinator for our Metals and Minerals Business in Heinenoord (NL).

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the ALS Inspection Netherlands core business (Metals and Minerals).
• Implement the business sales strategy through collaborative approach and optimisation of commercial tools.
• Ensure a consistently high standard of reporting (interim & final) to all customers.
• Provide an inspection service for all commodities in
  conjunction with the operational team and to manage it in an effective and efficient manner.
• Maintain and develop close working relationships with ALS Inspection customers ensuring service delivery is fit for purpose.
• Lead a team of surveyors with optimal planning and by providing clear instructions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fields within the metals and minerals sampling and analysis industry.
• Extensive technical knowledge of the commodity inspection industry.
• Working knowledge of quality services and the factors involved in delivering a quality service.
• Ability to liaise and present professionally at ALL levels within and outside the company.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and successfully achieving overall and individual commercial, sales, and business development targets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with cultural sensitivity, the ability to engage effectively with international clients, and proven negotiation and closing expertise.
• Good understanding of quality-of-service provision and appreciation of factors involved in delivering a quality service.
• A customer focussed individual with the ability to identify, target and develop new clients via Key Account Management principles.
• Proven expertise in developing long-lasting business relationships with existing clients (repeat business).
• Ability to manage and lead a team.
• Know how to design, build and execute a strategy.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products, including CRM tools.
• Excellent Dutch and English verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of the inspection, analytical and laboratory service industry (Minerals and Metals Sector).
• Experience or working knowledge of Minerals & Metals / Commodities / Mining / Trading industries.
